Luca Molnar is a painter from Hungary. She completed her BA studies in Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Hertfordshire. Luca was working as an illustrator for 6 years, with her works being featured in magazines all over the world. She has worked for all kinds of companies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Coke, MTV Networks and Landor Associates. In early 2013 she decided to leave the advertising world for good and started painting.

‘My works have a very simply yet complex feeling most of the times. I find it fascinating to create images of something that doesn’t even exists in our world the way I paint it. I’m inspired by ancient cultures such as Egypt, Maya or Celtic very much. I love mixing geometric shapes with beautiful, bright colors.’
